Request Report Methodology
Coagulation factor testing is generally performed to identify the presence of coagulation activity in a person which is associated with the control of blood clotting. Coagulation factor assay testing helps in identifying low level of coagulation factor activity, which is associated with excess bleeding and reduced clot formation. On the other hand, high level of coagulation factor activity is linked with increased clot formation, also known as thrombosis. It acts as a barrier during thromboembolism.
