Dr. Brereton Education Background
Dr. Daniel attained his undergraduate degree studies at Brigham Young University, Provo, UT, in 2009, getting a Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Developmental Biology. He went to Midwestern University, Phoenix, earning a degree in medicine in 2013. He served as the chief resident at Riverside University Health System, from where he finished his orthopedic residency. Dr. Brereton has profound experience in complex traumatic injuries management, having worked at a busy trauma center. He went on to work at the University of California Riverside as a team physician in 2018.
He further studied his elbow and shoulder reconstruction studies with the world-renowned Wayne Z. “Buz†Burkhead, MD, at the W.B Carrell Memorial Clinic in Dallas, TX, where he completed his residency training in 2019. While there, he also worked as an assistant team physician for the Dallas Mavericks and took care of professional athletes and another collegiate in the Dallas region.
