• Hepatitis B damages the liver

Hepatitis B is a liver infection caused by the hepatitis B virus(HBV). The condition begins as an acute infection that becomes chronic if left unattended for six months. As each day passes, the patient’s risk for liver cirrhosis (permanently scarring the liver resulting in liver failure) increases.

• Hepatitis B may lead to liver cancer eventually
